[SMP] Updated to 1.5!!!
Hey all,
We have successfully updated to 1.5 and have pasted the spawn to a brand new world. Please notice we have multiple server types running so we are now making addresses contain the game type. So Nickfost’s Survival Multiplayer is now smp.nickfost.com , or another example is the FTB server, which is ftb.nickfost.com . The original address for the SMP server works for now but will be later changed. Thank you, and enjoy playing on our new map!

1.5 is Here Don’t Update Untill We Say So
In case you didn’t notice, or just woke up to the news, 1.5 is released. We cannot update our servers until CraftBukkit releases their build; at which point we will update ASAP, so enjoy 1.4.7 for now.
[SMP] Planned 1.5 Wiping, New IP
For now on connect to SMP.Nickfost.com. Soon Nickfost.com will not work. The website remains nickfost.com and it will forever.
Once the ball for Minecraft 1.5 drops we will work hard to wipe everything and start over with a complete reset of player data and maps. However donation based statuses won’t extended or be lost. We want to continue providing the best survival experience to our players as we have done for the last 2 and a half years. So if you have a suggestion, please comment below letting us know of your ideas or suggestions.

Canned Manhunt and Starting FTB
Manhunt is dead for now because it’s getting a revamp and its not even ready for the latest version of Minecraft. We are planning to do a FTB server instead but this will be a bit different, the Feed the Beast server will be ran by Jace (aka “dapimp1234”) in a partnership with Nickfost’s Minecraft Servers (and if this concept works out well we might do it for others). Anyway that what’s up for now…

…………And We Are Back
OK so here is what happened… Something went haywire with the plugin iConomy and everyone money was lost, That caused Towny to decide to delete all towns…. Well Towny has a this weird feature where is rollback towns (we can’t disable it). So I managed to stop the chaos and change both Towny and iConomy to use MySQL for storage which is much more robust and we shouldn’t even have this issue again… So here is the end result, everyone is homeless, broke , and their previous home may or may not be there any longer. We are truly sorry for all the stuff that went down today we will try to make up for it on the server.
